Accolades
Since taking the podium in 2007, Mr. Hardwick and the orchestras of Frank W. Cox High School have received much recognition and high regards from professionals and educators alike. We are proud of what we have accomplished thus far, and continue to provide our students, audience, and community with quality performances and lasting experiences for years to come.  Here are just a few of our recognitions and invitations:

• 2012 - VBODA District Festival "Superior" Rating for both ensembles, selected students participate in the XIBUS World Tour at Jordan Hall, in Boston MA.
• 2011 – VBODA District Festival “Superior” Rating – Received Virginia “Blue Ribbon Award”
• 2010 – VBODA District Festival “Excellent” Rating
• 2009 – VBODA District festival “Superior” Rating– Received Virginia “Blue Ribbon Award”; Solo & Ensemble Festival “Superior” Rating for all ensembles
• 2008 – VBODA District Festival “Excellent” Rating
